Notary Ingolf Erker

After successfully completing my first state examination in law in 1988, I completed my legal clerkship at Heidelberg Regional Court and passed my second state examination in 1991. I then joined the higher judicial service of the state of Baden-Württemberg, where I worked as a judge and public prosecutor in Heidelberg.

In 1994, I was appointed public prosecutor before moving to the Mannheim Regional Court as a judge in 1995. Shortly afterwards, I was seconded to the Wiesloch notary's office as a notary, where I looked after various municipalities. In 1997, I was appointed a judicial councillor, and in 2015 I became a senior judicial councillor and head of the Wiesloch notary's office.

Since 2018, I have been a full-time notary for life, based in Wiesloch. At the same time, I have co-authored specialist publications in the field of inheritance law and worked as a lecturer at the German Lawyers' Institute.
